Do you know how impalas recognize each other? They have three black lines, unique to each, at the tips of the ears, on the back of the tail, the upper thighs and on the forehead. They are even called 111 in Kenya by trackers because of these visible 3 black lines from behind. Impalas are part of the Bovidae family more specifically antelopes, they look like kobs, gazelles and deer, they generally measure from 1.10 m to 1.50 m in length. It is found mainly in eastern central and southern Africa.
